Bass Fishing with Under Spins​

An under spin is just a jig head or a weighted hook that has a small spinner connected to the bottom of the rig. Under spins come in a variety of sizes both in jig head style and weighted hook types. Some have a weed guard which are used in heavier cover.

Under spins are almost always rigged with a swimbait trailer. Usually but not always with a paddle tail style. They come in many styles, sizes and colors.

Under spins can be fished anywhere you would fish a regular swim bait but shine when there is a lot of bait in the water. They can be fished just like you would a spinnerbait but sometimes work better because they are more realistic looking.
